Week 9: Fun Te mutunga o te tau 2021

 Kia Ora Koutou!

Myself and the tauira have had so much fun this week celebrating the achievements of our year. We have eaten pizza, lollies, chicken wings and we are grateful for the school community that we are aprt of.  

We say ka kite to four year 6's this year Buster, Sione, Taisha and Trey we wish you all the best at intermediate next year and remember don't be strangers. 

This has been my first year here at New Windsor and in Te Whānau Puāwaitanga, i have learn't so much along the way and i'm looking forward to what next year brings.

Week 8: Clearing out and Sending items home!

What a week of doing mahi from pāngarau, tuhituhi, hauora and also watchinig out sunflower plants sprouting. The tamariki have really enjoyed planting sunflowers, watering them each day and watching them grow.

We have taken time to reflect on the year and we are busy preparing for next week celebrations from prize giving, graduation and our special event of the year Poroporoaki.

Term 2 Week 10: End of the term Whai Koha

  Tama tu tama ora, tama noho tama mate!

Ngā mihi ō te mutugā o te wāhanga tua rua kia tātou katoa. Last week of the term has been full of finishing off our learning for the term and reinforcing the concepts we have been learning. 

We have had very busy but fun term learning about the broccoli tree, Matariki, Atua Māori, how to use technology correctly and practicing our New Windsor Way's.

It is a sad day as we also goodbye to Matua Reggie, who has really embraced our tamariki but also Te Reo me ōna Tikanga! Ka kite Matua, all the best on your teaching journey.
