Term 3 Wiki 1

Week 1 has started with learning our new ako routines for our akomanga.

We also set a learning goal which we included on our kites to make sure they are high up and we will strive to reach them.

Term 2 Week 10: End of the term Whai Koha

  Tama tu tama ora, tama noho tama mate!


Ngā mihi ō te mutugā o te wāhanga tua rua kia tātou katoa. Last week of the term has been full of finishing off our learning for the term and reinforcing the concepts we have been learning. 

We have had very busy but fun term learning about the broccoli tree, Matariki, Atua Māori, how to use technology correctly and practicing our New Windsor Way's.

It is a sad day as we also goodbye to Matua Reggie, who has really embraced our tamariki but also Te Reo me ōna Tikanga! Ka kite Matua, all the best on your teaching journey.

Term 2 Week 9: Mānawatia a Matariki

 Mānawatia a Matariki


Wiki tua iwa, we have done many things with our tuakana learning to embed a slide to their blog, teina learning about fractions, 1 whole, 1/2 half and 1/4 quarters, also how to equally share. We have also been reading, writing and learning about matariki. We have been working really hard to complete our matariki silhouettes.

Our kura also had an official opening of our new turf and shade sail area, which whanau and our community attended for karakia, some signing, performances from our school chior and kapa haka. group. We were all so excited!
