Term 4: Week 1 & 2 Whanaungatanga - Reconnecting

 Kia Ora Koutou!

Welcome back to distance learning for term 4! The plan is to take it slow and get back into the routine of school work. I understand that learning at home is not easy for use all, so try and make time to school work, whanau, and getting outside for some fresh air.

The value you will be focusing on this term is Responsible - Kawe Haepapa and how Responsibility may affect change in the environment or in our community. Also we will focus on our wellbeing using Te Whare Tapa Whā.

Week 1 We celebrated Nuiean and Cook Island Language week together and some of our akonga produced some great art and cook island donuts.

Week 2 a lot of our work focused on Kaitiakitanga and our responsibly to our environment. We also did a writing task on Halloween. The akonga produced creative pieces of work focusing on the weeks focus.

  2. Remy and Levi, what great examples of tivaevae you both made. The patterns were very effective against the contrasting background colours. Remy your folded paper display made your drawing look very much like it could have been a real 3d bathroom. Ka pai
